Are Children Allowed? |

Yes, at the standard rate if they will be eating. We ask parents/guardians to keep in mind our tours are 2.5 to 3.5 hours in length with a moderate amount of walking that may be a problem for small children. |

How much does a tour cost? |

Ticket prices varies depending on the tour. They range from $39.00 to $49.00. |

Most people feel they have eaten the equivalent of a moderate meal during the tour. |

What are the maximum participant sizes for your tours? |
| |

Space is limited to 16 participants for our Royal Oak tours and 10 for our Birmingham tours. A waiting list is not maintained. Private tour sizes can vary. Call 248-331-7296 to see how we may help you plan a fun activity for your group. |

What can I expect during a tour? |
| |
|
This is a true culinary experience. You will meet your tour guide at a designated site. Along the tour route, s/he will provide a brief history of the area and points of interest. At each tasting site, you will learn about the establishments, the proprietor’s history, and helpful food tips. |

What is the length and duration of your tours? |

It varies per tour. On average, a tour covers 2 miles and runs approximately 3.5 hours. |

Are pets allowed? |

Only seeing-eye dogs are allowed. |

Are refunds or rescheduling allowed? |

Refunds will only occur if the tour is canceled by Culinary Escapes. Tours occur rain or shine. |

Are gratuities allowed? |

Gratuities are graciously accepted, but are not required. |

What kind of food should I expect on the tour? |

We include a variety of foods and desserts samplings in each tour. It is recommended you bring water to keep yourself hydrated. |

What if I or my party has food restrictions? |

Please indicate any food restrictions or allergies at the time of ticket purchase. While we cannot guarantee a replacement food sampling, we will inform the eateries of your dietary restrictions prior to the tour. |

Will we sit as we sample food? |

This is a walking food tour. While there may be an occasion to sit, please expect to be standing for the duration of the tour. |

Does the tour have something to offer someone that lives in the area? |

Definitely! Most of the attendees are from the area. This is a great opportunity to discover new eateries and gain a personal insight into your local restaurants. |
